Fashion Designer

An eye for fashion? design? Follower of the latest fashion trends? Constantly sewing and drawing too make the best and most original products.

At La Fam we are looking for a talented and enthusiastic fashion designer to join our family. You will work closely with our team. You’ll work on new designs, tech pack, patterns and moodboards. take our brand designs to the next level and most importantly, stay calm despite the waves of deadlines that come rolling in throughout the season.

Tasks

• Working on new collections and collaborations
• Supporting the team with day to day tasks
• Developing tech packs
• Developing size tables
• Developing patterns
• Gaining technical experience through design, construction, patterns, costing and fit relating to ready to wear garments
• Responsible for maintaining the overview of our current sample collections.
• You will have the opportunity to work with our partner factories

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor certificate/students in a relevant study
• You’re passionate about fashion and design
• Basic knowledge of garment manufacturing
• You have a creative mind
• You are skilled in the use of Illustrator and Excel
• Basic knowledge of fashion and the fashion industry
• Fluent in English
• You are able to perform under pressure
• You have sufficient planning skills
• You are organized, structured and eager to learn
