A Project Close to Our Hearts 
In celebration of 750 years of Amsterdam

To mark 750 years of our beloved city, we created a portrait series dedicated to the people who make Amsterdam what it is. This project is close to our hearts a tribute to the city where we were born, where we learned, grew up, and each left our own signature. A city we’re proud to call home.

As part of the celebration, we designed a special jacket with Paradiso (Amsterdam’s iconic podium for music, art, and culture) to honor 750 years of Amsterdam a wearable tribute to the pride, energy, and diversity of our city.

Together with Lois cohen we photographed 20 Amsterdammers who grew up here and have each contributed to the city in their own unique way. From musicians and artists, to those who lead the night, and even our most passionate football supporters they all form the beating heart of Amsterdam.

The photoshoot took place inside Paradiso itself, a legendary venue that has long been a stage for voices that shape our city. With this series, we celebrate not just 750 years of history, but the people who carry its spirit forward every day.
